Heya, I'm Callum Stamp, born and raised in Holland. People call me "2nd" because I always seem to end up the second one in everything. Example, with computergames I always get in 2nd place, aswell as in sports, boardgames and even being the second one to own some console or game, that battle rages on with my friends and me...
Anyways, I started making Flash movies, when I hit "Mushroom Kingdom" in Google, to see if I could get any neat pictures for some school project. Right when I clicked it, Videogame Director's Cuts "Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom" popped onto my screen. I was soon to be blown into a new world, the world of Flash, Drawings and Sprites. I watched ROTMK 1 and I was stunned, because I knew those pictures, from Super Mario World! I began to do research and found out those things are named "sprites". The first thing I did, was downloading Flash 4. I began drawing Mario characters and making random movies. I even made some stick movies! I was a real imitator, everything I saw had to be in my skills too. I did everything, Stick, Madness style, Decline of Videogaming parody's and even some Legendary Frog parody's. Finally I came to my true passion, Videogame Sprites. I began to test my skills on some sprite movies. I learned tweenings, motions, movie clips. I got better by the day, and I joined the VGDC forums. On that forum I met a great guy, Kero. This guy tought me all about Internet talk, aswell as the rules of the forums. He was a real mentor. I got into a clan, a group of people focussed on one subject, wich was "Sonic". This Sonic Clan took me as one of their 11 members. I began to make sprites, and learned alot about the Forum. With the Sonic Clan, and Kero on my side, I was inspired to make my part for the Sonic Clan Competition. "Mack Daddy Sonic Constest" was it's name. Little old me began to make a Sonic dancing movie, and at the time when it was finished, I sent it in to Newgrounds. I regret that I did that now, but back then I diddn't know about Uploading sites, such as my buddy's Putfile and Imageshack.com. The movie diddn't get a bad rate, and people on the Clan liked it. The master/admin of the Sonic Clan stopped doing his job, so the owner of our own tribe quit. We had to choose a new leader. I made a poster saying: "Vote 2nd For President" wich made alot of members vote on me. I got that leadership on my shoulders and I was proud. Now I could go on and post in other sections of the forums, and my home-town got to be the "Post your stuff" section, were I always posted my own art and movies. I loved making little drawings to post on there. I met up with people who are still my friends, some of them are: B-real, Gogetails, Eggshells, Zeromega and Yaichan; that last one was a girl, and we became close friends. I made her a flash parody called "She Blocked Me", were she blocks me on msn and I cry... Anyways, I began coughing out alot of Flash movies, and showed them to people on my Msn. I got in touch with alot of great Artists, such as Blordow, Accana and Kefko. I spoke to them alot, and even wé became friends. A year later, Majin Piccolo had a new movie Idea, "Chaos". They needed voice actors and they made a Topic on the forums saying: "We need voiceactors fast, bitches". Wich took my attention, lol. I got a microphone at the store, here in the Netherlands, and began testing if I was fit for a voice like Tails, from Sonic the Hedgehog. I did audition, and got the part. I finally got into the movie, and got alot of attention from Sonic-Lovers, who needed me for their movies, such as InSonicNia or however you spell that. Then I met up with an awesome dude, Ian, or Psycosis. He made an superb flash movie called: Mario v.s. Bowser, and I was stunned. We got to be friends and we still are. We make eachother drawings, make sprites and movies, we are teh gewd friends. I met up with a guy called Daniel Sun, who made the all pwning movie: "Super Mario Allstars Adv.". I started talking to him, and when he saw my skills from movies, he accepted me as one of his crew members in Gka-Fusion! I got to meet up with Daniel Sun, in Melbourne. I traveled via plane across the world on vacation to my uncle and aunt, and got to know were Daniel lived. Me and my brother went to his house in Melbourne, and we got close friends. He was the first "other" sprite artist I saw in my life. We played on the DS, we ate Nachoes and played Super Smash Bros Melee. He showed me 'round town and then me had to leave, but not without have taken any pictures! I got home to Holland, and met another cool guy, Versuvio. He was a stick movie maker back then. After Daniel and I got to know him, he got in the Gka-Fusion crew, and later on I knew he was living in Holland too! Now we often visit eachother and sleep over. Even though I'm two whole years older then him, we still are close buddy's. Powerstar 2 got released at Newgrounds, Daniel Sun was happy with the results. I was too, and it inspired me to make my own epic videogame flash movie, using 8bit Super Mario Bros. 3 sprites. It's called "A Super Mario Bros. 3 Tale" and I'm still working on it now. On msn, Psycosis saw another one of my drawings, and forced me to put it on a site called "Sheezy Art". I knew that site, alot of people have one. Now It was time I have one too. So thats actually my story so far...
